Here I go again, playing with computer lettering and creating my own fonts. I’ll probably have a different style for every cartoon while I try to tweak it to my liking…
I’m glad no one was around when I read this, because they would have made fun of me for spitting my Pepsi all over my keyboard.
Part of the reason I started this story arc is because back in grade/middle/high school, I drew comics all the time and they were just about me and my friends as superheroes, etc. I just drew whatever came to mind. I’m having a hard time coming up with a storyline, so I figured, “why not just draw out the process of me figuring out what the characters and plot should be, and just make it sort of stream-of-conscious like my old comics?” That way I can work all the technical details out as I’m working on the plot, and I can get fan feedback as I interview potential characters.
And that last point is really critical. Andy, I’ve already gotten some really good suggestions of where I should go with this, but yours takes the cake. I’ve got plans for Friday’s strip already, but I might just change them now. That’s probably the funniest thing I’ve read in a long time.

I like where you seem to be going with this series.

I don’t know what on Earth you’re talking about, but thanks for pointing it out so I could fix it and pretend it never happened.
