I'm in the Money!

Here it is. Capitol Records, Virgin Records, Time Warner, Warner-Elektra-Atlantic, Warner Music Group, Warner Bros. Records, Atlantic Recording Corporation, Elektra Entertainment Group, Rhino Entertainment Company, Universal Music & Video Distribution Corporation, Universal Music Group, Bertelsmann Music Group, BMG Music, Sony Music Entertainment, MTS, Tower Records, Musicland Stores, and Trans World Entertainment have all come to their senses and admitted they have overcharged consumers for CDs. Apparently, instead of paying $9.99 to $15.99 each for the 352 CDs I have in my collection, I should have only paid $9.95 to $15.95. So, in order to restore good faith to me, the consumer, they've decided to pony up the four cents per CD they owe me and cut a check for $13.86.

Finally! Man, if I had not paid those extra four cents per CD back in 1995, maybe I wouldn't have had to get rid of all my Soundgarden albums to help pay my taxes! But that's okay, Capitol Records, Virgin Records, Time Warner, Warner-Elektra-Atlantic, Warner Music Group, Warner Bros. Records, Atlantic Recording Corporation, Elektra Entertainment Group, Rhino Entertainment Company, Universal Music & Video Distribution Corporation, Universal Music Group, Bertelsmann Music Group, BMG Music, Sony Music Entertainment, MTS, Tower Records, Musicland Stores, and Trans World Entertainment, I'm just happy we're finally back on good terms. Now I can stop boycotting your industry, go back to the CD store, and pay even more for CDs now than I used to. All is now well with the world.
