READERS FROM THE FUTURE: You’ve probably never heard of Domo Arigato Demi Lovato. She was popular for about twenty minutes in 2009 for being on the Disney Channel. This was, of course, back when Disney was just a tiny megalomaniacal media conglomerate, before they were the global totalitarian soul-crushing global conquerors they surely are in your time…
(15 minutes plus a few extra prep minutes of printing and cutting – Faber-Castell PITT artist pens and copy paper with images from the internet that webdisaster will later be sued for.)
Disney has created a franshise my kids will never break themselves from. The Cartoon Network and Nick are never on any more. The Jonas Bros show sucks yet the kids still watch it. Shaun the Sheep is the best thing they got going for them. The rest of it is just tripe. Miley Cyrus doesn’t even need any more money and she’s only 16. Fuck, Ashley bought a magazine off the news stand from Miley and it cost $9. Fuck me.
- by Hoar on September 30th, 2009 at 10:38 pmYeah, I didn’t think about this all of the way through. Readers from the future (i.e. our kids) will instantly recognize Demi Lovato as their president. Or maybe from the newly created Secretary of Entertainment cabinet position.

- by bridget on October 1st, 2009 at 7:30 amYou know something that’s funny?… my WordPress install marked one of your comments on my blog as spam, even though it was like the 5th comment you had posted (all of which had been approved). Your comic speaks much truth my friend.
- by Andy on October 1st, 2009 at 7:54 amAndy – I had that problem too. Suzy’s comments were flagged as spam. But I did install the anti-Suzy plugin for WordPress, so maybe that was the problem. =)
- by webdisaster on October 1st, 2009 at 8:38 amBridget – I used to like Disney. In fact, I still like pretty much anything pre Lion King. But then they won all those awards for the music in Little Mermaid, and everything after that has been total crap. Plus they saw how much money Christina, Britney, and Justin made and then decided that it was okay to start exploiting teenagers for profit. And now they own Marvel comics. *sigh*
I have never been to Disney World or Disney Land, but I hear those are pretty cool. Maybe my distaste for Disney stems from never being able to go as a child… =)
